Porsche Club 924 Challenge - Phakisa

A
strong field of Altech Porsche 924’s took part in
two highly competitive Altech Porsche Club 924
races. Phakisa has always proven to be a well suited
track for the Porsche 924’s with it fast flowing
corners working well on a well-balanced and setup
car. Race 1 saw Melt Malan take the honours ahead of
Johan Grobler and Marius Wait, while in race 2 Braam
van Niekerk took the win ahead of Robert Scott, with
Grobler this time in third. Both races had some good
close passes and with the introduction of the “white
line “ rule passing is guaranteed to be frantic.
With a total of 50 points on the day Johan Grobler
won overall, from Scott and van Niekerk. |

place at Zwartkops of the 25th of July. |
